Over 50 years ago, Josef Manger filed the first patent for the unique Manger bending wave transducer, which achieved incomparably natural music reproduction. It was still a long way to go before the Manger transducer, which is based on the functionality of the inner ear, was ready for production. It has been in series production for over 40 years and has been significantly optimized over this time.
